OK. Here we go. Up and running. Im going to look into MT or something else for this part of the site because manually putting this stuff in is going to get old quick. I will be updating the format over the weekend to separate this from the basic training blog which will be, for the most part, static.

• Along with the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, one of the cool volunteer opportunities we have here in Monterey is working at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. Last Sunday was the final day of the Honda Superbike Classic and I was one of the pit gate guards. One of the guys on the Suzuki team was an abusive a-hole. I was disappointed a Specialist who is here from a Ranger unit restrained himself after being shoved aside and told to "f-off". Other than that, though, it was a fairly fun day, as you can see for yourself.  

• Well, as you can see, I've started a bit of a regular blog here, but I will try to keep it related to my training or life in the Army. Look for a new page in this site eventually to host the blog and for this main page to go back to being static.

• It's been a really tough week. End of the 2nd "semester" of Arabic so time for end-of-semester tests - 8 in the past 3 days. Time for a day at the beach Saturday and a movie or something chill for Sunday.
